ECOPRO GHU, a world-class company specializing in cathode materials

The interest in and demand for high-nickel cathode materials are rapidly increasing due to the increased need for high-energy density material due to the commercialization of electric vehicles (EV) as well as steady growth of the power tools market.

ECOPRO GHU was established with the physical division of the battery material business unit from ECOPRO in May 2016 to respond promptly to such a rapidly changing market environment. ECOPRO GHU, which is equipped with a batch development and production system ranging from precursors to cathode materials, has already secured international competitiveness with its development of multiple original fundamental technologies and mass production technology accumulated over 10 years. Also, it is getting ready to advance into the GHU electric vehicle market. With this aim, it has commercialized CSG (high-end NCM), which is a next-generation cathode material, by improving cathode material technology with ceaseless R&D. ECOPRO GHU promises to do its best to stand tall as a leading company in the field of core materials for secondary cell while satisfying customer and market needs.
